  1. Good and diverse list.

I loved that you included “21 Jump Street” and “Cabin In the Woods”. “21 Jump” was probably one of the biggest surprises for me in the year–it was so much better than what I was expecting.

    • Cheers Victor! Ya, 21 Jump Street was the surprise of the year for me. Not hard when you expect absolutely nothing. I’ve watched it again since the cinema and it holds up. Those Cloudy Meatballs directors are ones to watch. Cabin in the Woods was probably the most original film I saw this year, and one of the funniest. Overall, despite a lot of big budget blockbuster disappointments, this was a pretty good year for cinema. I have a massive list of movies I loved that didn’t even make this list.
