Because I like to think of myself as a “man of the times”, with my “finger on the pulse”, I decided to buy a Nintendo Wii.
You mightn’t have heard of it, it’s Nintendo’s newest video-game console and has some sort of motion sensor technology which, in a novel twist, uses a small stick-shaped controller instead of your whole body, like we’re used to with the Kinect.
Reasons I bought it:
- It was only AU$78, preowned
- It only took six years, but there’s finally enough good games to pique my interest
- I missed Mario
- Lack of games I could play with my girlfriend on PS3
